A Pharmacist license is issued to candidates who have completed Pharmacy courses from colleges that are approved by the Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi. Pharmacist registration-related rules are regulated under chapter 4 of the Pharmacy Act 1948.
In order to get a Pharmacist registration license, a Diploma in Pharmacy, Bachelor in Pharmacy, and Pharm D holders are required to apply in their respective State Pharmacy Councils in India. After registration as a Pharmacist, the candidate gets a registered Pharmacist Certificate with a unique registration number and Pharmacist Professional Profile (PPP).

The Pharmacist registration process in Maharashtra is completely online. Therefore, the applicant is not required to make an appointment for verification. He/ She is exempted from appearing in person and verifying documents in original at the MSPC office.
Process of Pharmacist Registration
Apply for New Pharmacist Registration
First, the applicant needs to open the MSPC pharmacist registration website by clicking the link given below-https://online.mspcindia.org/
For new registration click on “New Registration Click here”.
After clicking on the link, the applicant will be redirected to the Primary Verification page, where he/she will need to select “College from Maharashtra State”.
After selecting “College from Maharashtra State”, the Primary Verification page will expand into further checklists parameters.
Applicant must Tick (✔) all relevant parameters then click on the “Proceed” button to move to the next page.
On the next page, the applicant needs to fill in his/ her “Personal Details” like First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Mobile No., Email, and Aadhar Number. After entering all data click on the “Proceed” button. Once you click on Proceed, the applicant will receive an SMS on your given mobile number which will consist of an OTP with Login ID and Password.
Applicant must enter Mobile number properly in order to receive the SMS.
Once submitting personal details, the applicant will be redirected to the “OTP Verification” page.
Enter the OTP which you have received on your mobile number and click on “VERIFY”.
After verification of OTP, the applicant will be redirected to the “Log in” page, where he/she needs to log in by entering the Login ID and password received through SMS.
Address & Qualification Details:
When the applicant logs in to his/her account, the applicant dashboard page will open where the applicant will fill in his/her address details and then qualification details.
Upload Photo, Sign and Documents
After submitting Address and Qualification details, the applicant will have to upload a scanned photo (file must not exceed 50kb and file format must be in JPG/JPEG), scanned sign (file must not exceed 20kb and file format must be in JPG/JPEG).
After that, the applicant has to upload all required ORIGINAL scan documents, and he/she must verify all documents before proceeding.
Documents required for Pharmacist Registration:
- Marksheets of Course
- Signed Practical Traning Form (For D.Pharm.)
- Final Diploma/Degree Certificate
- Leaving Certificate
- SSC/HSC Marksheets
- Proof of residence/ Adhar
- Identity Slip
- Undertaking form of MSPC
The next part is “Payment” of application fees. Here you can see the detailed fee structure of the Pharmacist registration application. By clicking on “Pay”, the applicant can pay his/her fees.
Once the applicant clicks on the pay button, the applicant will redirect to the payment gateway page of SBI Bank. Read all the instructions and click the check box to ‘Proceed’for Payment.
The applicant will redirect to the Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council page for payment, see the below image for reference.
Select ‘Registration Fees’ in the given section to further add details related to the applicant’s account.
After filling in all details, click on the Submit button. As the applicant clicks on Submit button, he/she will redirect to Payment details. Enter his/her payment details as per bank instruction. After successful payment, the Applicant must take a printout of the online receipt to enter details on online registration. As shown below-
Enter Payment Details
Enter the SBI reference number of the payment, fees paid and payment date in the “Enter Payment Details” section and then click on the ‘ADD’ button.
Payment details will be added to the system then click “Confirm” to process the final submission of the applicant’s application. The applicant will be able to see the application status as complete and he/she can click on the ‘Print Application Form‘ and take a printout of the form for his future reference.
Pharmacist Registration Status Check
After confirmation of application, the applicant can check the Pharmacist registration status in his/her login.
